The name of GRAF stands for quality in the yarn. The continuous monitoring by our quality control department of all stages of the production process (ISO 9001), starting from the drawing and rolling mills to the production lines for the manufacturing of metallic card clothings and finally the ready-packed end product vouches for the quality of our metallic and flexible card clothings. As with all high quality products however it is the satisfied end user that completes the full cycle.

A long-lasting appreciation by the customer does ultimately also depend on the service and maintenance of the product. Like the periodic grinding of top rollers influences the quality of the yarn, particularly the IPI-values of thick- and thin-places on the spinning machine or the CV% values in the drawing sliver, the regular service and maintenance on the carding elements has substantial influence on the third IPI-value, the neps. The card, a key component in the spinning process has to be maintained with particular care.
